This public policy states external rights and responsibilities without publishing nonpublic implementation, security, data source, or commercial details. Customer-specific commitments and negotiated terms may appear in an executed agreement and control where stated.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text records a website asks a browser to store and return. Local storage and session storage are browser-managed records that generally remain on a device until deleted, expired by the application, or closed with the browser session. Similar technologies can support authentication, security, preferences, and measurement.
This Policy applies to MegaHuddle-controlled websites and services. A connected data source, embedded service, or destination opened from MegaHuddle may operate under its own policy and choices.
2. Categories we use
Necessary technologies support security, authentication, staging access, session continuity, load balancing, consent records, fraud prevention, and features you expressly request. They cannot be disabled through Cookie Choices because the corresponding service may not function without them.
Functional technologies remember optional personalization beyond a feature you expressly request. Analytics technologies measure visits and interactions to improve performance and product decisions. Marketing technologies support campaign attribution or advertising. On the public site, functional, analytics, and marketing categories are disabled until accepted, and MegaHuddle does not currently load a third-party advertising pixel.
3. Representative necessary technologies
The exact technologies vary by environment, activated feature, browser, and hosting service. The categories below describe representative necessary uses without publishing nonpublic implementation or security details.
- Authentication and session records used to maintain authorized access; retained until expiration, logout, or another applicable security event.
- Protected-preview records used to preserve authorized access for a limited period or browser session.
- Consent records used to remember category choices and policy version; retained for up to 180 days before the site asks again.
- Requested interface settings and temporary navigation records used to remember a setting you select or reduce repeated requests; retained until changed, deleted, or the browser session ends, depending on the feature.
- Hosting, security, and fraud-prevention records that may be used briefly to route requests, maintain availability, or prevent abuse.
4. Analytics and interaction events
After analytics consent, MegaHuddle may record first-party events such as page path, feature interaction, referral URL, device class, and campaign context. Public analytics are not intended to include passwords or unrestricted source content.
Authenticated services may also record organization-scoped operational and product events needed to deliver, secure, audit, or measure a contracted service. Those events may be necessary to the service and are governed by the applicable agreement and Privacy Policy rather than public-site advertising consent.
5. Your choices
Use Cookie Choices in the footer to accept all optional categories, reject them, or make category-level selections. A choice applies to the current browser and device. Clearing browser data, using another browser, or a material policy change may cause the site to ask again.
You can also block or delete cookies and storage through browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, remove preferences, prevent a protected preview from opening, or require repeated choices. Where legally required, MegaHuddle treats a supported Global Privacy Control signal as a direction to keep optional analytics and marketing categories disabled for that browser.
6. Third parties and embedded content
A product may link to or, when authorized, embed content from social, video, analytics, cloud, or data sources. A third party may collect information when its service is loaded or opened. MegaHuddle will classify and gate optional integrations where required, but the data source remains responsible for its own processing and policy. A source reference or outbound link does not itself authorize third-party tracking on MegaHuddle pages.
7. Retention and changes
Cookie and storage duration is limited by its purpose, application configuration, data source behavior, and legal obligations. Security and suppression records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or honor a choice. MegaHuddle periodically reviews the inventory and will update this Policy when categories or material purposes change.
8. Contact
For questions about a technology, category, consent record, or privacy right, use the Cookie inquiry link below. Include the affected browser, page, and approximate time if reporting unexpected behavior; do not include passwords or secret keys.
